Singularity

A point of light, infinitely small, unimaginably vast.
Impossibly distant, almost within reach.
Light as a particle, light as a wave – a duality.
But you said singularity?
Yes I know, it’s confusing isn’t it.

Imagine if light were tangible; if you could hold it in the palm of your hand – Sir Isaac’s lump of light. Then picture in your mind an image of a photon. The unseeable; the unknowable; always on the move, impossible to pin down.
My guess as good as anyone’s.

Repetition.
The routine of the studio.
Every day the same question, arriving at a different answer.
Moments of lucidity – the next day wondering what it’s all about.
